NIELSEN BRAND FILM

Pilot worked with Nielsen’s global creative team to create a brand film in support of their positioning The Science Behind What’s Next.™  The focus of the piece was to show the diversity, range and scope of the company and their products. They wanted to achieve this partially by showing real employees in their work environments.  So we shot in the Chelsea office, and featured a cross-section of their diverse staff. For post, we used a mix of stock footage and our shoot footage to create the VO-driven brand film. We also worked to find a voice over artist that had a specific international tone and personality.

TURNER EXECUTIVE INTERVIEW

Pilot shot interviews with top Turner executives about the results of a survey conducted internally about company culture. We coordinated executive schedules and created economies of scale by coupling together filming opportunities in multiple cities.  

 

SPOTIFY BRAND PARTNER CASE STUDY

Spotify For Brands are case studies that Spotify uses to show off their brand partner initiatives with potential clients.  In each of the case studies we’ve created to highlight the partnerships we were able to give viewers a sense of what the partnership felt like but also show off Spotify‘s own incredibly well-honed brand lens and voice. One of the most interesting things about the Spotify brand is how quickly they’ve developed innovative tools for the branded content community, giving advertisers many opportunities to engage with listeners.

MICROSOFT AWARD SUBMISSIONS

Award submissions have become big business for blue chip brands. Coming home from Cannes empty-handed is simply not an option in today’s marketplace. Contexting great work, in a quick, concise and ultimately entertaining way, is its own art. In the branded content space this is even more important when two brands are sharing the limelight.  We love the challenge of creating highlights that are engaging for juries and clients alike.

PROSIGHT EXPLAINER VIDEOS

Explainer videos can be anything—animated, graphic, filmed—so long as they tell the client’s story...fast.  When Prosight came to us they wanted to be able to both TELL their story, in a personal, conversational and straightforward manner, but also SHOW their product, in a seamlessly integrated set of content pieces. That required collecting interviews with top executives who are scattered around the country. Pilot created a production budget and schedule that created efficiencies by bringing executives together for shoot days packed with interviews, taking a limited budget and stretching it, without compromising quality. 

 

NIELSEN INFOGRAPHIC

Pilot was tasked with creating an animation for Nielsen, the original measurement leader, to be presented at Advertising Week. The resulting overview of the history of television and viewer engagement is brisk and tongue-in-cheek and an example of fully animated, custom infographic work.  As a company with many entertainment clients, Pilot relished this assignment, if only for getting to search for such awesome photographs of old-timey TVs.
